ClearOpsIQ

How it works

ClearOpsIQ records the date and the dollars at every step, so each PO has its own cash return days and profit.

  1. 01You pay the supplier.
  2. 02The goods ship and clear customs.
  3. 03Your warehouse counts them.
  4. 04Amazon receives and sells them.
  5. 05The payout lands.

Do you use FIFO?

Only to decide which purchase order a sale came from: the oldest one with units left. Each PO keeps its own costs, its own cash return days and its own profit. Nothing is averaged across POs.

Do I have to type everything in?

No. Amazon reports come in by upload today. A reports connector is not built yet. A direct Amazon connection is being set up.

Where each item stands

Ready means it is in the product. Coming next means it is not built yet. Waiting on others means a provider still has to allow it. The Amazon connection is being set up. QuickBooks is not available yet.

  • Ready

    Nine order stages

Awaiting payment, in production, in transit, at customs, at warehouse, sent to Amazon, received by Amazon, selling, paid out. Each with the date it started.

  • Ready

Every Amazon shipment tied to its orders

One shipment can draw from two orders, for example 80 units from the oldest and 40 from the next. ClearOpsIQ suggests the split; you confirm it.

  • Ready

Units Amazon lost, found and paid for

Units sent compared with units Amazon received. Reimbursements and late Amazon fees land on the order they belong to.

  • Ready

Warehouse and FBM costs where they belong

Storage, handling and pick-and-pack attached to the product or order. The full cost of each order you ship yourself.

  • Ready

    Costs in any currency

Each cost keeps its original currency and rate. Totals are shown in US dollars.

  • Ready

    Orders ranked side by side

Which orders returned money fastest and earned most, to decide where the next dollar goes.

  • Coming next

Amazon reports arrive on their own

A reports connector the seller authorises would fill them in on a schedule. That connector is not built. Uploads work in the meantime.

  • Waiting on others

    Direct connections

The Amazon connection is being set up. QuickBooks is not available yet. Warehouse systems and bank feeds wait until each provider allows them.
